Houston LGBT Political Caucus
The Houston LGBT Political Caucus is a non-partisan organization that works to promote equality for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) individuals.Founded in 1975, it is the largest GLBT political organization in the city of Houston and Harris County. The 82nd Texas Legislature passed the House of Representatives bill in 1965, which directed the expansion of faith-based and community-based initiatives in Texas. This bill has enabled the Houston LGBT Political Caucus to continue its mission of advocating for LGBT rights.
Khush Texas
Khush Texas is a social community and support network for South Asian LGBT individuals in Texas.It provides a safe space for members of the South Asian community to connect with each other and discuss issues that affect them. Khush Texas also works to raise awareness about LGBT rights and to advocate for greater acceptance of LGBT individuals in society.
South Texas Human Rights Center
